Jess Tocheri

I grew up in small town Iowa spending a lot of time outside, exploring the yard and helping my parents in the garden. Even though my love for creating beautiful things started when I was a kid, I was very academically inclined and planned to spend my life in a biology lab. I never considered working in a creative industry until I got a part time job at a small retail flower shop. I applied there on a whim thinking it could be a fun while I was in college, but I soon found myself obsessed with everything about being a florist. I changed my major to plant science in order to honor the little biologist in me, while continuing to expand my knowledge about the new career I’d chosen. I spent my 20s in Salt Lake City exploring the green industry and working for different florists, evolving my skills and unique design style. You can see my passion for beauty in every arrangement— full of interesting colors, seasonal blooms, and textural details. After ten years in Utah, I’ve just moved to Columbus with my husband and can’t wait to make this place feel like home!
