Sarah Dixon

Born and raised Columbus in a family with a rich tradition of gardening and indoor plant cultivation Sarah is in her natural habitat when she is growing, arranging and designing floral and plants.

My Italian grandmother had a vegetable garden every summer, instilling in my mother and me a sense of fulfillment from growing our own garden and enjoying the process and the fruits from the earth. From choosing seeds to picking the weeds, the garden is a meditative space and always a safe haven.

While completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts I worked at a flower shop and was mesmerized by the art of floral design. Once bitten by the floral bug I spent eight years working at a bustling downtown floral shop and graduated to opening my own full service retail floral shop. After nine incredible years of business ownership I wanted to join a floral team in a different area of the industry and sought Prema Designs for their artistry and reputation.
